EVERYbody Reads exists to provide services and resources to Michigan’s underserved individuals, families & communities by offering a comprehensive bookstore & neighborhood center. Further it is our goal to make certain that every individual can see their faces and hear their stories in our collection, regardless of everything.
Please join us as we welcome authors Dedria Humphries Barker, author of Mother of Orphans: The True and Curious Story of Irish Alice, a Colored Man's Widow and Dr. Veronica Wilkerson Johnson, author of A Sparkle in Their Eyes: Raising Talented, Diverse Students in STEM Careers.
We will also be welcoming additional poets and writers. More information as it becomes available.
Proceeds of the evening's sales will go to Uplift Our Youth Foundation.
The event is free, open to the public, and appropriate for all ages.
